Decluttering Your Life (and Finances)

Budgets and Cents Podcast - Decluttering Your Life (and Finances)

LISTEN ON: iTunes | SoundCloud | Google Play

This week we decided to get into the nitty gritty and share some tangible tips for decluttering your life and your finances. Similar to minimalism, decluttering is a hot topic online these days.

We start by defining what decluttering means to us: essentially, it’s clearing out anything that takes up negative space. This could mean decluttering physical items from your home, but it could also mean decluttering your budget, your social calendar and your life.

As usual, we share tips based on our own experiences. We also share some of our favorite apps, books and podcasts that can help you declutter your own life.

(Note: The best apps are usually only available in the U.S. Boo!)

If you could only take one thing away from this episode, we would want it to be this: Sometimes, the healthiest thing to “declutter” is the unnecessary expectations and pressures you put on yourself.
